Post-Event Updates

February 21, 2014: Last week, the ODU community set out to collaboratively compose a digital book within 24 hours, and that’s just what they did. In all, 284 participants, including 251 students and 33 faculty/staff members, contributed over 650 items to the project, which includes written texts, videos, and images! At the conclusion of the event, event coordinators George Fowler and Dylan Wittkower facilitated a wrap-up presentation featuring President John R. Broderick and Provost Carol Simpson who both addressed the ODU community and applauded the success of the event. Several contributors to the project including Dr. Jennifer Kidd, Dr. David Metzger, and Dr. Manuela Mourao described their contributions and how they involved their students in the project.
